
The defender of Simba SC, coached by Fadlu Davids, will not be part of the team’s plans as they prepare to face the Egyptian side, Al Masry, in the CAF Confederation Cup quarter-final match.
Che Malone suffered an injury during the match against Azam FC, which was played at the Mkapa Stadium, where the final score was 2-2, and both teams shared the points.
That match was played on February 24, 2025, and besides Che Malone, Simba’s number one goalkeeper, Mousa Camara, also sustained an injury during the game.
Simba is scheduled to face Al Masry away on April 2, 2025, and another match will be played at home on April 9, 2025.
Ahmed Ally, the Manager of Simba’s Media and Communications Department, stated that Che Malone has not fully recovered, and as a result, they will miss him in the away game against Al Masry.
The Simba SC team is expected to depart for Egypt on the morning of March 28 for final preparations for this international match.
