Yanga Head Coach, Miloud Hamdi, has expressed confidence that star player Jonathan Ikangalombo will make a significant impact within the team due to his abilities in matches where he gets the opportunity to play.
Ikangalombo had the chance to start in a friendly match against Singida Black Stars, which was organized to mark the opening of the Airtel Stadium.
In that match, played on March 24, 2025, the two teams drew 1-1, with Ikangalombo making history as the first player to score in a competitive match for Yanga.
Miloud stated that the forward is among the players who enjoy scoring and collaborating with other teammates in pursuit of victory on the field.
"What I see in Ikangalombo is his ability, especially in utilizing spaces and his speed on the field. This is evident from the work he does, so I believe good things are coming," Miloud said
